The Contour Seat was initially announced at the Sand Sports Super Show , making the first new seat design for PRP since the launch of the UTV XCR in 2022. Unlike the XCR the Contour is a ground-up design for PRP providing a fresh new look and feel in their product line-up.
The Contour Seat represents a milestone for PRP, featuring a removable rounded cushion and extended seat depth. This innovative design allows drivers to sit deeper, positioning their hips lower than their knees for optimal comfort and support. This helps prevent leg hyperextension, enhances stability, and ensures proper seating posture during aggressive off-road driving.
With a storied history in desert racing, it was only fitting that PRP would use the SCORE International Baja 1000 as the ultimate field test for the Contour suspension seat.
With 864 miles through some of the harshest and brutal terrain staying comfortable and safe in an endurance race was vital for Doug Cornwell and Trent Kirby who raced the #3930 Polaris RZR Turbo R in the Stock UTV Class.
Driver, Trent Kirby had this to say about the experience:

“I had less fatigue in my back, spine, and shoulder blades than ever before and didn’t feel the need to adjust my harnesses which allowed me to focus on navigating the harsh terrain at night with one less distraction.”
