KC HiLiTES, a long-standing name in the off-road lighting space, has introduced a new category of gear aimed at portable lighting.
The new KC FLX line features three distinct products that move beyond vehicle-mounted solutions, offering portable, multi-use lighting tools for everyday carry and adventure use.
The FLX 3K Flashlight leads the lineup with a 3000-lumen output. Built around a rugged aluminum body, the flashlight is IPX4-rated for water resistance and can withstand impacts up to one meter. It includes a USB-C port for charging and the ability to power other devices, plus a removable battery for swapping in spares when needed.
Next in the lineup is the FLX 7K Flashlight, delivering 7000 lumens and a design focused on high-output performance. Like the 3K, it features USB-C charging, a durable housing, and twist focus. An additional safety feature—an intelligent auto-off function—shuts down the light when the lens is obstructed.
The third product in the FLX line is a convertible Headlamp and Task Light. It combines a magnetic task light with a headlamp strap for hands-free use. The Broadview floodlight beam is designed to mirror the user’s natural field of vision. The unit includes six lighting modes, USB-C charging, and an adjustable strap for headlamp use.
KC has long been known for its vehicle lighting products, with roots dating back to 1970 when the brand’s founders adapted airplane landing lights for their truck. Since then, KC has become a familiar name in off-road and adventure communities, with its products appearing in pop culture staples such as Back to the Future and Stranger Things. Still family-owned, the brand continues to expand its offerings while maintaining its focus on durability and performance.
The new FLX series marks KC’s expansion into portable lighting while maintaining the same rugged DNA that defines its legacy vehicle lighting products.
