Gozney has unveiled its latest portable pizza oven, the Tread, designed for those who want to take high-temperature cooking beyond the backyard.
Lightweight, rugged, and equipped with a range of accessories, the Tread allows users to prepare restaurant-quality pizza and other dishes in remote locations.
The Tread is set to be available for purchase starting March 11th through Gozney.com and select retailers. Designed with adventure in mind, this compact oven features integrated carry handles, rapid heat-up and cool-down times, and a roof rack ancillary that doubles as a prep station or chef’s table.
The oven reaches temperatures of up to 950°F in just 15 minutes, making it possible to cook a pizza in as little as 60 seconds.
“We wanted to disrupt the outdoor cooking market by creating a pizza oven that ventures further than ever before,” said Tom Gozney, founder of Gozney. “Tread brings the joy of pizza making to more people and places, turning meal preparation into an outdoor experience.”
Weighing 13.5 kg (29.7 lbs) and available in Off Black or Olive, the Tread is designed for easy transport. The accompanying Venture Stand offers a stable cooking platform with independently adjustable legs for uneven surfaces.
Additional features include a removable 12mm cordierite stone floor and Gozney’s lateral gas burner, designed to mimic a traditional wood-fired flame while offering precise temperature control.
Beyond pizza, the Tread’s cooking space and temperature range allow for a variety of dishes, including steak, chicken, fish, and vegetables. The oven’s construction includes high-quality materials such as 304 stainless steel, cordierite stone, and ceramic-bonded die-cast aluminum, and it comes with a five-year warranty.
Retailing at $499.99, the Tread offers a compact solution for outdoor cooking enthusiasts looking to expand their culinary experiences beyond traditional settings.
