Nova packs up deceptively small yet doubles in size when deployed, making it the most compact rooftop tent in FSR’s lineup when closed. Designed to fit nearly any vehicle—from full-size trucks to compact SUVs—it is an accessible option for both novice and seasoned campers.

Despite its compact footprint, Nova doesn’t compromise on functionality. Integrated crossbars allow the mounting of essential gear, from solar panels to storage boxes, ensuring the user is equipped for any adventure. Whether they need extra sleeping space, gear storage, or both, Nova is built to adapt.

  • No Support Poles Required – Unlike traditional fold-out tents, Nova’s extruded aluminum static u-bar and reinforced steel cables provide structural support without additional poles, ensuring a faster, hassle-free setup.

  • Upgraded Ladder Brackets – Feature a streamlined push-button design, making extending and retracting the ladder quick and smooth, while ensuring a stable connection for secure entry and exit.

  • Included AirCore Mattress – Nova comes equipped with FSR’s AirCore mattress. An updated hinge system eliminates pinch points, making Nova fully compatible with AirCore to provide superior sleeping comfort.

  • Tri-Layer Insulation – FSR’s patented Tri-Layer technology is strategically placed on the ceiling, windows and doors. FSR Tech Fabric is used everywhere else to minimize weight and maximize packability while regulating interior temperature and keeping campers comfortable in all conditions.

  • Integrated Heater & A/C Port – Nova is equipped with two built-in diesel heater ports, allowing users to customize their climate control for year-round comfort.

Nova is available in two sizes to accommodate different needs and vehicle setups:

  • Nova – A compact option designed to sleep 2-3 people, compatible with a wide range of vehicles, from small sedans and SUVs to full-size trucks.

  • Nova King – A larger model providing ample space for 3-4 people and making it ideal for families, groups, extra gear, or longer trips and bigger setups.

Despite its rugged construction, Nova remains light enough for most roof racks:

  • Nova: 132 lbs

  • Nova King: 162 lbs

The Nova Series is on pre-sale until the end of February and will begin shipping to consumers in late February, early March. Pre-sale pricing for Nova is $2,995, and Nova King is $3,595, with the option to pay a 10% deposit or pay in full. Orders paid in full will have a 40” Kingpin Equipped Light Bar included. Orders taken with a deposit will have the option of a discount on a 40” Kingpin Equipped Light Bar.
