Four Wheel Campers, a leader in the truck camper industry, officially launched its highly anticipated CampOut series, introducing a modular slide-in pop-up truck camper designed for versatile customization and outdoor exploration. 

Unlike vans or RVs, truck campers let users pair their ideal camper with their preferred truck - choosing the right size, engine power, and off-road capabilities for their needs.

CampOut takes that flexibility even further by providing a modular platform that allows users to start with limited modules, a fully equipped setup, or a custom mix, with the ability to add and remove modules at any time.

The “Build Your Way” Modular System

CampOut introduces the “Build Your Way” philosophy, allowing camping enthusiasts to take control over their layout and features by utilizing easy-to-add and remove modules.

CampOut modules:

  1. Power Module (Standard): Lithium battery, smart monitor, multiple power ports, and solar compatibility. Upgrades available for a second battery, 2000W inverter, and up to 500W of roof-mounted solar panels.
  2. Utility Module (Standard): Secure interior and exterior storage, optional propane heating, and portable induction or propane stoves.
  3. Water Module (Optional): Built-in sink, portable Dometic 12V faucet, removable water jugs for fresh and gray water storage, and alternative storage options.
  4. Fridge Module (Optional): Comes with a Dometic CFX chest fridge and alternative storage options.
  5. Seating Module (Optional): Configurations vary by truck size, including bench seating or a front dinette layout with a Lagun swivel table.

Built with lightweight yet durable materials including modern bamboo countertops, slotted aluminum extrusions, polypropylene honeycomb panels, and HDPE doors with compression latches, CampOut is designed to handle tough environments.

  • Flat-packed for DIY installation: Order modules later, shipped directly for easy self-assembly.

Designed for Any Adventure, Any Truck
CampOut fits nearly every truck on the market, including mid-size (5 ft. and 6 ft. beds) and full-size (5 ft., 6 ft., and 8 ft. beds) with starting weights as low as 860 lbs for the mid-size 5 ft. model and 1,030 lbs for the full-size 8 ft. Pricing starts at $25,995 for 5 ft. and 6 ft. models, and $26,995 for 8 ft. models.

Standard exterior features include:

  • Gear mounting system with L-track and molle panels.
  • Power panel with 120V, USB, and USB-C outlets.
  • DC port for Starlink Mini.
  • Downlights for nighttime visibility.
