From SEMA Floor to Barrett-Jackson, the Chip Foose Inspired Truck will be Auctioned off as part of Barrett-Jackson’s Event in Scottsdale, Arizona with all Proceeds to Benefit Progeria Research Foundation. The Custom Truck Design to be Unveiled at RealTruck’s Booth in a Live Broadcast Press Conference on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. (PST).
RealTruck Inc., a global aftermarket product and accessory brand, and a digital destination for truck, Jeep, Bronco, and off-road enthusiasts, is collaborating with automotive designer and artist, Chip Foose, known for his car-customization reality television series “Overhaulin,” for a one-of-a-kind truck build that will be unveiled during a live stream broadcast at this year’s SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, and auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona in January 2025.
Foose is building a 2021 F-150 at Foose Design Headquarters in Huntington Beach, California, and bringing his signature design vision to life by blending innovation with RealTruck’s lifestyle.
The build and auction will benefit The Progeria Research Foundation, which is committed to finding treatments and the cure for Progeria, a rare, genetic “premature-aging” disease that accelerates mortality in young patients.
“It’s been an exciting time working with the automotive mastermind over the last month on this unique build that will bring his vision, and automotive design to life in this highly anticipated collaboration,” said RealTruck Inc. Vice President of Marketing Lee Riser. “Over the years, he has made automotive dreams come true and we’re looking forward to being a part of his legacy and giving back to a foundation committed to finding a cure for a devastating disease affecting young patients.”
The truck will be outfitted in premium RealTruck parts and accessories including a RealTruck Traction Recovery Winch, a Rugged Ridge Traction Recovery Kit, RealTruck Go Rhino Rear and Front Bumpers, Husky Liners RVL Fender Flares, and more.
“I’d like to thank RealTruck for this opportunity and their generosity,” said Chip Foose. “The team at Foose Design will bring the design concept to life with all proceeds from this customized truck going to The Progeria Research Foundation, a charity that is near and dear to my heart. This truck could be yours and we’re looking forward to unveiling it at SEMA this year.”
Once unveiled and displayed in the RealTruck booth at this year’s SEMA Show, the truck will be one of the featured charity auctions during Barrett-Jackson, the world’s greatest collector car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, in January 2025.
At auction, 100 percent of the hammer price will benefit Foose’s personally selected charity – The Progeria Research Foundation. Foose is near and dear to this charity and in support of finding the cure for the disease because of his youngest sister Amy who died of Progeria at the age of 16 years.
“We’re honored to have been chosen as the charity of choice in this amazing auction and thank the RealTruck and Chip Foose team for the support,” said Audrey Gordon, President and Executive Director of The Progeria Research Foundation. “This initiative will bring awareness and vital funds to help us power breakthrough research toward the cure for Progeria. On behalf of the children and their families, we are deeply grateful for this opportunity.”
The official truck unveil will take place during SEMA Live on Tuesday, November 5 from 11:30 - 11:50 a.m. PST at RealTruck’s Booth #50027. For more information, please visit RealTruck.com and follow on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

About The Progeria Research Foundation
The Progeria Research Foundation (PRF) is a nonprofit organization established in 1999 by the family of Sam Berns, a child with Progeria. PRF funds and conducts research-related programs, including the clinical trials and studies that led to approval of the first-ever FDA-approved drug for Progeria, lonafarnib (Zokinvy). PRF is the only organization in the world solely dedicated to finding treatments and the cure for Progeria and its aging related conditions, including heart disease.
Due to the discovery of the biological connection between Progeria, heart disease and aging, finding the cure for one of the rarest diseases on earth could provide keys for treating millions of adults with heart disease and stroke associated with the natural aging process, as well as help the entire aging population. The organization fills a void, taking these children out of the background where they had been for more than 100 years and putting them and Progeria at the forefront of scientific efforts.
