No two vehicles are set up in quite the same way. Each vehicle owner has his or her own needs and requirements. In this edition of Onboard Utility (OBU), we take a look at a 2021 Ford Bronco that was built and is driven by our Associate Editor, John Pangilinan.
John utilizes his Bronco for family camping trips as well as accessing trails and other natural lands while on assignment for OVR. Judging by his beverage brewing gear, he loves a good cup of coffee out on the trail tool.
As you can tell, operating out of the Bronco for extended periods of time isn’t a problem thanks to the Dometic fridge and Goose Gear’s camp kitchen and tailgate table set up. A Goal Zero power pack helps keep John’s photography equipment charged up, and a Pelican case protects sensitive equipment.
If he needs to zip ahead on the trail to scout the location, a custom matching Super73 S2 bike is at the ready. There’s plenty to look at in this OBU, so let’s take a closer look.
Onboard Utility Featured Items
Super73 S2 (modified)

Owner’s Notes: “This was the perfect pairing to extend each adventure. The S2’s retro-inspired style complemented the look of my Bronco, so I had it customized to fully match. My kids absolutely love the bike and going for rides so that’s been a major bonus.”
Goal Zero Yeti 1500X Portable Power Station
URL: goalzero.com
Owner’s Notes: “Goal Zero’s Power Station has been incredibly useful. With it, I’m able to work remotely and power my laptop, phone, and recharge my camera battery. It has also come in handy to help inflate air mattresses and even an inflatable movie screen to use on camping trips.”
1UP 2″ Super Duty Single Bike Rack

Owner’s Notes: “This has been one of the best investments I’ve made for the bike. It’s extremely easy to use and provides peace of mind when holding the Super 73. It has helped protect my investment with its heavy-duty design even while out on the trails.”
Goose Gear Tail Gate Table

Owner’s Notes: “One of my favorite modifications hands-down for the Bronco. It comes in handy for cooking, making coffee, as a work table, and as a dining table. It’s solidly built and looks great.”
Step 22 Gear Stingray Flat Box Mini

Owner’s Notes: “I love the compact size and design of this storage case. I use this one to house all of my travel coffee components currently, which include a portable grinder, Aeropress, electric kettle, and of course fancy coffee beans.”
Dometic CFX3 45
URL: dometic.com
Owner’s Notes: “Having a fridge in a vehicle is amazing, despite losing valuable storage space. Not only can you have cold beverages without the mess of melted ice, but also food, which can come in handy even on trips to the grocery store when you’re not able to go home immediately afterward. I love the ease of use and quality of this Dometic fridge, which pairs great with the Goose Gear slide and camp kitchen.”
