With hundreds of everyday carry pocket organizers and pouches on the market, searching for your “perfect” loadout can feel overwhelming.

You may find yourself stuffing your full EDC kit into multiple pants or jacket pockets, only to spend more time searching for what you need than actually using your tools.

Carrying your EDC can quickly become cumbersome, and you might even be tempted to leave it behind, opting for the classic phone, wallet, keys approach—thanks to Adam Sandler for getting that song stuck in all of our heads, I know my OCD loves it.

Pocket organizers and pouches are a great solution, offering organization and convenience that may reshape how you stay prepared on a daily basis. To narrow down your search, consider what you actually view as essential items in your daily loadout.

For myself, I prefer carrying a versatile multi-tool, a primary blade, pen, microfiber cloth, and a pry bar on my person at all times.

Dialing in your desired tools for your loadout will help you determine what size organizer suits your needs. Finding a compact 180-degree open, wallet-friendly pouch that fit all my essentials without the bulk was a top priority. Enter Zero Feud’s Compact Utility Pouch (C.U.P.)—the perfect fix for eliminating loose gear in multiple pockets.

The pouch comes in two sizes: Size A (3” x 4.5”) and Size B (4” x 5.5”), with two material options—500D Nylon (Standard) and 420D Nylon (Hex)—available in a variety of colors.

Both sizes feature a full hook and loop front face, YKK zipper (not weatherproof), rear pocket slip and rear key hanging tab, as well as interior pockets for organizing your favorite items.

I chose Size B in Hex Black and despite being the larger option, it easily fits in a back pant pocket or the inside pocket of your go-to jacket. Zero Feud does offer a dedicated soft wallet/pocket pouch that features a toploading zipper providing single-access, similar to a coin purse.

However, the C.U.P. stands apart with its clamshell-style opening, which lays flat to provide quick visibility and easy access to every compartment.

Whether keeping it on my person or tossing it in my daily backpack, this pouch has been an affordable and durable solution for carrying my essentials. And just like many pouches, they have an endless variety of uses, from your most common EDC, to a first aid and emergency kit, tech organizers, etc.

There are countless tools you can carry, and the best part is that it’s entirely up to you. Focus on what you use most throughout the day—whether it’s the desire to stay prepared or tackle the more mundane tasks like cutting down boxes from an online shopping spree or reaching for a microfiber cloth for your sunglasses.
